National Bank 2018 Provincial Championships – Update
The entry deadline for this weekend’s provincial tournament has been extended until noon on Wednesday. As of 4 o’clock on Tuesday afternoon, 40 people had entered this weekend’s tournament, however, tournament organizers hope to attract a few more entries. We are particularly interested in hearing from those who would be interested in playing in a Masters Mixed Doubles Event that would be played on Sunday morning. With the support of National Bank, Tennis PEI will be hosting the biggest tennis event of the year—the National Bank 2018 PEI Tennis Championships on August 17-19 at the Victoria Park Tennis Courts in Charlottetown. Entries are now being accepted online using the Tennis Canada Tournament software (click here, click here, or here) or by emailing programs@tennispei.ca. This event will be limited to PEI residents only (summer residents included). All players must have current Tennis PEI memberships (Adult $25, Junior $15). The entry fee is $5 per event. Please note that events will be combined if entries are too small.
