This past weekend Tennis PEI hosted the National Bank Atlantic Tennis Association 4-star Tennis Tournament in Charlottetown. The tournament took place at the Spa Total Fitness Centre from Friday, January the 17th until Sunday, January the 19th. The tournament included four age divisions. Boys under 10, Boys under 12, Boys under 14 and Girls under 12. Players from all over Atlantic Canada came out to play this tournament, despite the bad weather. Locally we had 6 athletes participate; GU12 Tiffany Chong (Charlottetown), Julia Ghiz (Charlottetown) and Jadyn Huggan (Charlottetown); BU12-14 Sebastian Nguyen (Stratford), Elijah Opps (Charlottetown), Jeffrey Guo (Stratford) and Lucas Calhoun (Millcove). For Lucas, Jadyn, Julia and Jeffrey, this was their first Tournament played. Great job to everyone!

Girls under 12: Vanya Virmani (Fredricton, NB) vs Raktika Galwa (Fredricton, NB) (To Be Played in NB due to weather)
