This coming weekend, the junior athletes who form Tennis Team PEI will travel to Fredericton, New Brunswick to compete in the Junior Atlantics. The play will take place indoors at the Abony Family Tennis Center. The team is comprised of male and female players who will participate in multiple age divisions. Among those who are traveling are Elijah Opps (Charlottetown, PEI) Sebastian Nguyen (Stratford, PEI), Sisters; Tiffany and Maggie Chong (Crapaud, PEI) as well as Maria Campeanu (Charlottetown, PEI) and
Rachael Phelan (Kensington, PEI). Maggie Chong is seeded 1st in the U14s division while Rachael Phelan is seeded 1st in both the U16 and the U18 divisions. We are expecting a great weekend with fierce competition. As always, we wish the best of luck to all participants and of course, safe travels. Thank you all for representing our Island!
