Last November, Team Canada presented by Sobeys won the Billie Jean King Cup, the World Cup of Tennis, in Seville, Spain for the first time in our history. The team was comprised of Leylah Annie Fernandez, Gabriela Dabrowski, Marina Stakusic, Rebecca Marino, and Eugenie Bouchard, led by captain Heidi El Tabakh.
As part of the Billie Jean King Cup Champions Tour presented by Sobeys, on June 21-22, we will welcome the iconic trophy to the Charlottetown Tennis Club and invite the public to join us in celebrating Canada’s historic triumph.
On this stop, attendees will have the opportunity to have their photo taken with the trophy, creating lasting memories and inspiring the next generation to pick up a racquet.
